Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta should only be without three players when the Gunners make the trip to Goodison Park to face Everton in Sunday's Premier League showdown.

New boy Jurrien Timber still has months left on his recovery calendar following an ACL injury, while Thomas Partey's groin injury will not take so long to heal, but the Ghanaian should not be seen for another few weeks.

Fellow midfielder Mohamed Elneny is also yet to make his competitive comeback from a knee operation, but the Egypt international is slowly building up his fitness in training and is edging closer to a return, but it will not come this weekend.

Despite speculation over a possible debut for David Raya in the coming weeks, Aaron Ramsdale should continue in goal here, although a change in between the sticks against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League is not beyond the realm of possibility.

Gabriel Magalhaes's Brazil debut was cut short due to an injury scare, but the centre-back recovered in time to play the full 90 against Peru and should join Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White and William Saliba in an unchanged XI, assuming the journey home does not take too big a toll on him.

Having been given a public vote of confidence by Arteta, the misfiring Kai Havertz can expect to hold his place in midfield alongside Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, who endeared himself to the Emirates faithful with a dramatic late goal against Manchester United two weekends ago.

Eddie Nketiah's dream England call-up ended with the striker not playing any minutes for Gareth Southgate, but the 24-year-old put in another good shift against Manchester United and should hold his place, allowing Gabriel Jesus more time to recover from his international exertions.

However, Jesus's fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli will likely still line up on the left, as Bukayo Saka - despite being bugged by an Achilles issue - starts on the right flank as ever.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli
