Arsenal captain Alexandre Lacazette is back on the bench for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, while Mohamed Elneny earns a start.

The Frenchman missed the recent defeat to Southampton after contracting COVID-19 but has recovered to make the squad, which is more than can be said for the absent Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Ben White will seemingly act as the right-back for the Gunners at Stamford Bridge, with Rob Holding being introduced to the backline alongside Gabriel Magalhaes and Nuno Tavares.

Elneny makes his first Premier League start since December alongside Granit Xhaka, with Albert Sambi Lokonga relegated to the bench alongside Cedric Soares.

With Lacazette among the substitutes, Eddie Nketiah is given another chance to lead the line with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe in support.

Arsenal starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Tavares; Xhaka, Elneny; Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Nketiah

Subs: Leno, Lacazette, Cedric, Pepe, Sambi Lokonga, Martinelli, Azeez, Swanson, Hutchinson
