Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has seemingly ended any chance of Arda Guler leaving the club during the January transfer window.
Guler is currently in his second season at the Santiago Bernabeu having completed a €20m transfer from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023.
However, the progress of the 19-year-old has been hampered by injuries and Ancelotti preferring to use the more experienced options at his disposal on a regular basis.
Nearly 18 months into his stint in Spain, Guler has been restricted to just nine starts and 16 substitute appearances in all competitions, leading to speculation regarding his future.
A report recently suggested that Arsenal were contemplating whether to make an approach for the Turkey international, initially on loan with the possibility of a permanent deal.
Nevertheless, Ancelotti has poured cold water over a scenario that may see Guler move elsewhere to further his development.

"We need everyone"
Real's injury issues, particularly in defence, have been well documented of late, and forward Vinicius Junior has now joined the list of absentees.
Guler took his opportunity to impress as Real posted a 3-0 win at Leganes on Sunday, a performance that has led to Ancelotti hinting that any loan proposals for the prospect will not be considered.
As quoted by The Mirror, Ancelotti said: "When the team plays well it's because everyone contributes. Arda has contributed a lot when it comes to creativity in the final third, he has been close to scoring goals, he has played a complete game.
"These are players that we can count on at this moment because the demands of the games are very high. We need everyone going forward."

Encouragement for Guler
Guler's 75-minute outing at Leganes represented his second-longest outing in La Liga this season, only bettered by two minutes when he featured versus Real Sociedad in September.
Three unused substitute appearances came between those games, suggesting that Ancelotti was not prepared to rely on youth at a time when Real have been playing catch up in the La Liga table.
Ahead of Wednesday's Champions League showdown with Liverpool, Guler is now pushing for an opportunity to start at Anfield.
