Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell from Deportivo Saprissa.
The fee for the 19-year-old is undisclosed, but the international will move to the Emirates once personal terms have been agreed.
“Joel Campbell has already shown that he is a player with great ability, and has also performed well on the international stage at a young age," manager Arsene Wenger told the club's official website.
"We look forward to the formalities of the transfer being completed and working with Joel when he joins us at Arsenal."
Campbell was included in Costa Rica's squad for the 2011 Copa America and also featured in the Under-20s World Cup.
