Cologne striker Lukas Podolski is close to joining Arsenal, according to reports in Germany.
The 26-year-old striker has agreed personal terms with the Gunners, although the two clubs have yet to agree a fee, according to Bild.
Wenger is a known admirer of the former Bayern Munich forward, and is keen to add quality to his striking department in the summer.
Podolski has scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga this season.
