Arsenal chiefs finally clinch Lukas Podolski deal

Arsenal reportedly completed the £10.9m signing of Germany striker Lukas Podolski this weekend.

Yesterday, the 26-year-old denied claims that a deal had been agreed for his move from Cologne to north London.

However, after Gunners chiefs flew to Germany on Friday and met with the bosses of the Bundesliga club, a fee has been agreed, according to the Daily Mail.

Podolski is expected to sign a four-year £100,000-per-week deal at Emirates stadium after the conclusion of this season.
