Arsenal are allegedly contemplating whether to launch a bid for Club Brugge forward Ferran Jutgla, who has starred in Belgium since his exit from Barcelona.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Club Brugge forward Ferran Jutgla as a potential transfer target for the future.

During the summer window, the Gunners conducted business which ultimately resolved any outstanding issues that they had in the final third of the pitch.

As well as Gabriel Jesus being signed from Manchester City in a £45m deal, the club's hierarchy negotiated a new long-term contract with Eddie Nketiah.

The pair are now established as the top two central-attacking choices under Mikel Arteta, with Gabriel Martinelli able to deputise down the middle if required.

Nevertheless, according to Todofichajes, Mikel Arteta will give consideration to further strengthening that position if an opportunity arises to sign Jutgla.

With his senior experience minimal and Barcelona needing to generate transfer funds, the 23-year-old was allowed to join Club Brugge for just €5m in June.

However, since then, Jutgla has enhanced his reputation with a glut of goals for his Belgian side, contributing eight strikes and five assists from just 14 appearances in all competitions.

Four of those contributions have come in the Champions League, catapulting Brugge to the top of a group including Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Porto by six points.

With Jutgla possessing a contract until 2027 and Barcelona not including a buy-back clause, Brugge are in a strong position with regards to his future.

That said, clubs appear likely to come calling for the versatile forward over the coming transfer windows providing that he continues his progress.

The report adds that Spain boss Luis Enrique will consider including Jutgla in his 26-man squad for the World Cup should he continue to impress over the next months.

Brugge would allegedly demand in the region of €10m (£9.8m) if clubs begin to show an interest at the midway point of the campaign, although they appear in line to request in excess of that figure at the current time.

The situation could change if Brugge do not improve their position in Belgian's top flight with the club only in third position, eight points adrift of leaders Royal Antwerp.
