Premier League leaders Arsenal have reportedly held talks with Real Madrid and Spain attacker Marco Asensio over a potential move to the Emirates this summer.
The 27-year-old winger has featured 31 times for Los Blancos in all competitions this season - with 18 of those coming in La Liga - however he has been an unused substitute on two occasions over the past week.
The 35-time Spain international's professional career has been played exclusively in his homeland to date, with Asensio making the switch to the Bernabeu from Mallorca in the summer of 2015.
According to the Daily Mail, Mikel Arteta's Arsenal and Serie A side AC Milan have held talks with Asensio as they both explore the possibility of securing his services for next season, with the player's current deal in Madrid running out in the summer.
Asensio is said to be 'very angry' with the lack of gametime he has received from Carlo Ancelotti in recent months and is willing to listen to offers, including those from Real's La Liga rivals Barcelona.
The report also claims that Newcastle United are interested in bringing the attacker to St James' Park as they look to challenge for Champions League football once again next season.
Arsenal are still in the hunt for two trophies this season and travel to Portugal on Thursday to face Sporting Lisbon in the last 16 of the Europa League, before making the short trip to Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
