Arsenal are reportedly lining up a £36m move for Gremio's Brazil international forward Everton Soares.

Arsenal have reportedly made a £36m offer to Gremio for attacker Everton Soares.

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer as Unai Emery looks to build on their fifth-placed finish last season.

Soares played a big part in his country's recent Copa America success, finishing the tournament as the joint leading goalscorer, including netting a goal against Peru in the final.

The Mirror reports that the Gunners are keen to seal a deal for the 23-year-old amid speculation also linking him to Italian club Napoli.

According to the report, Soares has been learning English, suggesting that a move to the Premier League could be on the cards.

The forward has scored nine goals from 19 appearances for his club side so far in 2019.
