Arsenal are reportedly the front-runners to sign Declan Rice, who looks set to leave West Ham United at the end of the season.
Having rejected numerous contract extension offers, the midfielder's future is subject to speculation, and Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked.
Rice has made 34 appearances for the Hammers this season, but with the club fighting relegation, the England international may look to leave this summer.
Football Insider claim that Rice would prefer to stay in London, and given the likelihood of Arsenal playing Champions League football next season, that has made them the favourites to prise Rice away from the London Stadium.
Chelsea's struggles this season see them down in 10th and unlikely to play European football at all next season.
A goal for England in their win over Italy on Thursday will only increase Rice's stock further, with West Ham likely to sell up in order to avoid losing him on a free in the summer of 2024.
