Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The Gunners were previously linked with the Ukraine international in the summer transfer window, and while personal terms were believed to have been agreed, the transfer never materialised due to a disagreement over the fee.
Mudryk has begun the 2022-23 campaign in fine form, scoring five goals - including two in the Champions League - and registering seven assists in 10 appearances across all competitions.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are still interested in signing the 21-year-old, and they are believed be leading the race for his signature.
The Gunners could face competition from Roma, who reportedly had a £25m offer rejected, with Shakhtar holding out for a bid in the region on £40m.
Mudryk, who is under contract until December 2026, has recently admitted that his dream is to play for a Premier League club, which could help Arsenal in their bid to secure his services.
