Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on Red Bull Salzburg starlet Roko Simic.
The 18-year-old was loaned out to Salzburg's reserve team FC Liefering for the 2021-22 season and already has seven goals from 10 appearances in the second tier this season.
Simic also came off the bench for the final three minutes of Salzburg's Champions League win over Wolfsburg last week - his debut for the senior side - and his rapid development has reportedly not gone unnoticed.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal are contenders to strike a deal for Simic, who also boasts five goals from four appearances for the Croatia Under-21s.
However, Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the £7m-rated striker, who is the son of 100-cap Croatia defender Dario Simic.
Simic previously represented Lokomotiva Zagreb before joining Salzburg this summer, and his contract with the Austrian giants does not expire until 2025.
