Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Derby County youngster Lee Buchanan.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a key player for Wayne Rooney's Rams this season, contributing three assists from 34 Championship appearances.
Derby should secure their survival in the second tier for next season, but Buchanan's performances have supposedly attracted interest from the Premier League.
Given Kieran Tierney's multiple injury problems since joining the club, the Daily Mail reports that Arsenal are interested in signing Buchanan as a back-up left-back this summer.
Mikel Arteta has had to field Cedric Soares and Granit Xhaka on the left-hand side of defence in Tierney's absence, and their only other recognised left-back in Sead Kolasinac – currently on loan at Schalke 04 – is expected to complete a permanent move away this summer.
Buchanan's existing deal at Derby is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
