Arsenal are reportedly contemplating an approach for Monaco forward Keita Balde after Inter Milan rejected the chance to sign the player this summer.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Monaco forward Keita Balde as a potential summer signing.

The Gunners are restricted in the transfer market this summer, while Unai Emery is placing focus on trying to strengthen in defence and midfield.

However, there remains a desire to make alternations in the final third, leaving the Spaniard to try to find value for money and players who can operate in more than one position.

According to Le10Sport, that has resulted in interest in Balde, who has just spent the season on loan at Inter Milan where he scored five goals from 23 outings in Serie A.

However, the Italian giants have decided against signing the 24-year-old on a permanent deal, which could leave the Senegal international available for a transfer to another club.

Arsenal may find themselves in a position where they need to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after recent speculation regarding the Gabon attacker.
