Arsenal lining up bid for Brazilian teen Reinier Jesus?

Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign Reinier Jesus from Flamengo, despite the Brazilian teen's release clause being set at £60m.

Highly-rated Flamengo youngster Reinier Jesus has emerged as a rumoured transfer target for Arsenal.

The Gunners have been scouting the Brazilian market to unearth a hidden gem due to their small budget, which is rumoured to be around the £40m mark after missing out on Champions League football.

Tuttomercatoweb claims that Jesus is one of the players on Unai Emery's radar, though his release clause currently stands at £60m and Flamengo will need convincing if they are to let him leave for less.

Jesus has been likened to Brazilian great Kaka and was linked with a switch to Real Madrid earlier this year.

Due to FIFA rules, however, the youngster will not be allowed to officially complete the move until turning 18 next year.
