Arsenal looking to move on midfielder Mesut Ozil?

Mesut Ozil has reportedly been put up for sale by Arsenal manager Unai Emery after failing to impress during the 2018-19 campaign.

Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for German playmaker Mesut Ozil, according to a report.

The 30-year-old signed a new deal with the Gunners in January 2018 that is worth a rumoured £350,000 a week and keeps him tied down until 2021.

However, Ozil struggled to win over manager Unai Emery in the 2018-19 campaign and the Spaniard is now rumoured to be looking to get rid of him.

A report carried by Football.London suggests that the former Real Madrid midfielder has been placed on the transfer list, but Arsenal are likely to struggle to find any takers because of his transfer fee and wages.

Ozil, who is Arsenal's third-most expensive signing behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, insisted last month that he is not seeking a move away from North London.
