Arsenal's plans for next season have been dealt a blow after midfielder Orkun Kokcu penned a new contract with Feyenoord.
Since the turn of the year, Kokcu has been frequently linked with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium after impressing in the Eredivisie.
Having contributed six goals from 42 appearances in all competitions, the Gunners were allegedly prepared to pay in excess of £20m for the 19-year-old.
However, on Friday evening, Feyenoord announced that they had agreed fresh terms with one of their star men, effectively ruling out a transfer to the Premier League giants.
The Dutch side revealed that Kokcu had penned a five-year contract, keeping him at De Kuip until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
