Arsenal have reportedly decided to offer a big-money deal to Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, who has previously spent time with the Gunners.
Ozyakup was contracted to Arsenal between 2008 and 2012, although the then-youngster only made two appearances in the EFL Cup.
The Turkish international has since gone on to star for Besiktas - with 186 appearances being made in all competitions - but the 25-year-old has less than six months remaining on his deal.
According to Aksam, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has taken the opportunity to try to bring Ozyakup back to North London, and an offer has been made ahead of a potential switch at the end of the campaign.
Ozyakup is likely to attract offers from other high-profile European clubs over the coming months.
