Arsenal are reportedly preparing a late attempt to sign Salomon Kalou.
The striker, who was was recently released by Chelsea, had been expected to join German club Schalke on a free transfer.
However, the Gunners could now land the 26-year-old Ivorian, according to Caughtoffside.com.
Despite interest from Schalke, Kalou is thought to be keen on staying in England.
