Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly made Emmanuel Emenike a January transfer target.
With Olivier Giroud not due to return from injury until the opening weeks of 2015 at the earliest, and Lukas Podolski expected to depart the North Londoners, Wenger is believed to be eager to bolster his attacking options for the second half of the season.
That has resulted in the Frenchman's interest in Fenerbahce frontman Emenike, who is also a target of Arsenal's rivals Tottenham Hotspur, according to Turkish publication Skorer.
The Nigerian international joined Fenerbahce in 2013 and he has gone on to score 13 goals for the club.
