Arsenal are reportedly planning a bid worth £54m to sign unwanted Real Madrid duo Lucas Vazquez and Keylor Navas this summer.
Manager Unai Emery remains on the search for a dynamic wide player after Arsenal's £40m approach for Wilfried Zaha was flatly rejected by Crystal Palace.
Real are reportedly open to selling as many as nine first-team players during this transfer window as Zinedine Zidane looks to make serious changes following a disastrous 2018-19 season at the Bernabeu.
According to reports in Spain, Arsenal will launch a swoop to sign both Vazquez and Navas for a fee of just £54m, with Emery convinced the club can sign at least one Real player this summer.
Navas, who was replaced as first choice by Thibaut Courtois last season, would be available to buy for less than £18m, while Vazquez is considered dispensable by Zidane, giving Arsenal the opportunity to sign two top-level players for relatively cheap.
Arsenal's only signing of the summer so far has been to strike a £6m deal with Brazilian side Ituano for 18-year-old striker Gabriel Martinelli.
