Granit Xhaka's proposed move from Arsenal to Roma is reportedly in doubt following a breakdown in talks between the two clubs.
The Switzerland international had been widely expected to complete a switch to the Stadio Olimpico this summer, ending a five-season stay with the Gunners.
However, it emerged earlier this week that Arsenal had supposedly rejected Roma's latest bid of around £20m for the 28-year-old.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claims that the two sides have now reached a stalemate in talks, putting any transfer this window in jeopardy.
The same report indicates that Roma want Xhaka to pressure Arsenal into agreeing a deal, but the midfielder is currently focused on Switzerland's Euro 2020 campaign.
