Arsenal are reportedly considering selling up to 12 players in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to prepare for new recruitment.

Arsenal are reportedly set for a busy summer transfer window, which could include them offloading up to 12 players.

The Gunners are currently sixth in the Premier League table with seven games remaining as they fight for a place in the Champions League next season.

However, the club is expected to financially back Mikel Arteta in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to bolster the squad, according to football.london.

Arsenal could reportedly end up letting up to 12 players leave after this season in order to make room for potential new recruits, while also adding further funds.

Bernd Leno, Mohamed Elneny, Eddie Nketiah, Alex Runarsson, Hector Bellerin, William Saliba, Pablo Mari, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi and Reiss Nelson are all names that might be moved on.

Arteta is hoping to bring in a new striker, a central midfielder, and a winger ahead of the new campaign.
