Arsenal to send Mesut Ozil out on loan in January?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to allow Mesut Ozil to leave the club on loan in January, even if it means paying part of his wages.

Arsenal reportedly remain keen to part ways with midfielder Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.

Despite falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, Ozil expressed a desire to stay with the Gunners during the summer.

However, Arsenal still want to get the playmaker off their wage bill as soon as possible, even if it means taking a financial hit.

According to The Mirror, the North Londoners are prepared to pay a portion of Ozil's income if he accepts an opportunity to move elsewhere, whether that be on a permanent or temporary basis.

Ozil, who has made just two starts in all competitions this season, still has just under two years left on his current contract.
