Arsenal are reportedly considering offering experienced defender David Luiz a new contract.
The 34-year-old's existing deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire at the end of June, and a final decision on the Brazilian's future is not expected to be taken until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola, the Gunners are weighing up the possibility of offering the centre-back a new contract until June 2022.
Nicola also claims that Benfica and Fenerbahce have also been in touch with the South American, while a host of Brazilian clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on developments.
Luiz has struggled with a number of injuries this season but has still featured on 30 occasions in all competitions for Mikel Arteta's side, scoring twice in the process.
The defender missed out on his side's Europa League semi-final second leg against Villarreal on Thursday evening, which ended in a 2-1 aggregate defeat, due to a thigh complaint.
