Arsenal and West Ham United are locked in a battle to sign Manchester City teenage talent Tyrese Campbell, according to a report.
The England Under-17s international, who has 97 goals to his name in the last two seasons at youth level, recently turned down the Citizens' offer of a scholarship deal.
That has left the door open for a switch elsewhere, with Campbell - widely regarded as one of England's most exciting young products - now officially free to speak to other teams should he wish.
It has been claimed by ESPN that London rivals West Ham and Arsenal are particularly interested, with the latter hopeful that Campbell with follow in father Kevin's footsteps in making a move to the club.
Man City have bolstered their ranks in recent days, however, after winning their own battle to land Velez Sarsfield youngster Benjamin Garre despite strong interest from near neighbours Manchester United.
