Atletico Madrid have reportedly turned focus to Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette in their search for a new striker.
Los Rojiblancos were dealt a blow earlier this week when top scorer Antoine Griezmann announced that he will leave the club this summer if his £104m release clause is triggered.
Atleti have already been linked with Edinson Cavani and Paulo Dybala, of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus respectively, but French newspaper Le 10 Sport suggests that Diego Simeone has personally identified Lacazette to replace countryman Griezmann.
The report claims that initial contact has already been made between the La Liga runners-up and Arsenal over a potential move, though the Gunners are unlikely to be open to offers.
Lacazette, named Arsenal's Player of the Year for 2018-19 after playing a direct part in 29 goals in all competitions, has also been touted as a possible target for Barcelona, despite the Catalan giants' long-running interest in Griezmann.
