Ben White is set to undergo his Arsenal medical this weekend ahead of a £50m switch from Brighton & Hove Albion, according to a report.

Having had bids of £40m and £45m knocked back by Brighton, Arsenal are understood to have agreed a £50m deal for the 23-year-old, who is set to become Mikel Arteta's third arrival of the summer window.

Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have already arrived in North London from Benfica and Anderlecht respectively, and White is seemingly on the verge of joining the duo at the Emirates.

According to the Daily Mail, White's Arsenal medical will take place this weekend following his return from holiday, and he should be officially announced as a Gunners player next week.

The former Leeds United loanee arrives in North London following the departures of Sokratis, Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz, while William Saliba has been sent out on loan for a third time.

White started 36 Premier League games under Graham Potter last term but did not play a single minute for England at Euro 2020.
