Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is reportedly set to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man has held down his role as Arsenal's number one for the past three seasons but now has greater competition in the form of summer signing Aaron Ramsdale.
Leno's existing deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire at the end of the current season, and there is supposedly a growing expectation that he will not be extending his stay in North London.
As a result, the Daily Mail indicates that Leno is set to walk away from the club for nothing once the campaign concludes after the Gunners forked out £22.5m to sign him in 2018.
The 29-year-old is supposedly being eyed up by Serie A champions Inter Milan as a replacement for Samir Handanovic, with the Slovenian shot-stopper turning 38 next year.
Leno has played in all three of Arsenal's opening defeats in the 2021-22 Premier League season and boasts 34 clean sheets from 120 appearances for the club in all competitions.
