Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye has admitted that he regrets not getting the chance to join Arsenal last summer.
The 28-year-old - then at Newcastle United - was reportedly the subject of a £12m bid from the Gunners in August, but the Magpies' hierarchy rebuffed the approach.
Cabaye swapped Newcastle for Paris in January, but the playmaker admits that he would have liked the opportunity to play under manager Arsene Wenger.
"I would have liked to play for Wenger last summer but, unfortunately, it didn't happen," he told Telefoot.
France international Cabaye has made nine appearances for Ligue 1 giants PSG this season.
