Chelsea have reportedly joined Arsenal in showing an interest in Malaga striker Salomon Rondon.
The European champions are in the market for a new centre-forward, following the departures of Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou.
Uruguay international Rondon, who has scored 25 goals in two La Liga seasons, was watched by Chelsea scouts when playing for his country against Venezuela last week, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
It is believed that Chelsea are willing to part with £10m for the 22-year-old, however Malaga are understood to value the player at double that figure.
