Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has tonight revealed that he is talking to the Serie A giants over a contract extension, ruling out the possibility of joining Arsenal despite rumoured interest from the Gunners.
Cuadrado's fine start to the season for La Viola has led to persistent speculation over a move to the Emirates in recent weeks, with scouts reportedly sent to watch him play in Serie A last month.
The Colombian international has also been linked with Juventus and Inter Milan but is adamant that he remains committed to Vincenzo Montella's project in Tuscany, welcoming preliminary talks over fresh terms.
Following tonight's 2-1 win over Romanian side Pandurii he told Mediaset: "I am happy and relaxed at Fiorentina.
"Now we are working on a contract extension. I am ready to stay here."
The 23-year-old has scored three times in 10 appearances for La Viola so far this season.
