On-loan Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is now ready to stay with Arsenal for the remainder of the season, according to a report.

Dani Ceballos is reportedly now ready to stay with Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

The Spain international joined the Gunners on a season-long loan from Real Madrid last summer and was a regular under Unai Emery in the opening months of the 2019-20 campaign.

The midfielder has not turned out in the Premier League since the start of November, though, and it was recently claimed that he was keen to leave the Emirates Stadium before the end of January.

However, according to AS, Ceballos is now prepared to stay with Mikel Arteta's side and fight for his spot in the starting XI.

The report claims that featuring against Bournemouth in the FA Cup on Monday night, in addition to talks with Arteta, played a key role in the 23-year-old deciding to make a U-turn.

The Spaniard appeared on 34 occasions for Madrid during the 2018-19 campaign but was deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu ahead of the current season.
