Everton reportedly tell Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City that Idrissa Gueye will not be leaving the club on deadline day.

Everton have reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain that Idrissa Gueye will not be leaving the club before tonight's transfer deadline.

PSG have seen an initial £21.5m offer for the midfielder turned down, but negotiations have been ongoing during deadline day.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in Gueye, but Sky Sports News reports that Everton have ruled out any exit this month.

Gueye is understood to have asked to leave the club upon hearing of PSG's interest but has seen that transfer request turned down by the Toffees.

Everton are also expected to keep hold of James McCarthy, who had been linked with a deadline-day move to Crystal Palace.
