Marouane Fellaini has reportedly opened talks with Everton which may result in a switch to Arsenal to join former teammate Mikel Arteta.
The Belgian midfielder, who is out of contract at Goodison Park in 18 months, is of interest to the Gunners, who are pondering whether to make a move for the 23-year-old, according to Metro.
Toffees manager David Moyes recently revealed that he hoped Arteta's departure to Arsenal wouldn't spark an exodus of players at the club.
Despite the interest of Arsenal looming, Fellaini may opt to stay with the North West side.
BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty wrote on Twitter: "Everton still in contract talks with Marouane Fellaini. Big moment for them when his future is decided one way or other."
The midfielder joined the Merseyside club from Standard Liege in 2008 for a club record £15m.
