Hamburger SV coach Josef Zinnbauer has said that he is confident of hijacking Arsenal's deal to sign Legia Warsaw starlet Krystian Bielik.
The 17-year-old was thought to be nearing a move to the Gunners, who had two bids rejected this month but the player himself revealed that a deal was close to being struck.
However, Zinnbauer says that the £3.5m-rated Pole travelled to Hamburg in recent days and verbally agreed to join up with the Bundesliga outfit.
Speaking to Kicker, Zinnbauer said: "Of course Arsenal are also interested but I don't think he is bluffing [about being interested in joining Hamburg]. Otherwise he didn't need to come to Hamburg.
"He is a really good boy who has very good build-up play. He would fit in perfectly with our philosophy."
Bielik has made six first-team appearance for Legia, including one as a substitute in the Europa League.
