Gonzalo Higuain's brother has admitted that the Real Madrid striker is "very close" to a deal that would take him to Arsenal this summer.
The Argentine has been linked with the Gunners for the past month now, and a switch to North London looks likely following Carlos Tevez's transfer to Juventus and Real Madrid's appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach.
While the Premier League outfit are yet to give any information on the potential signing, Higuain's brother Nicolas feels that the saga is not far from its conclusion.
"If Tevez joins Juve, is Higuain closer to Arsenal? I think so," Nicolas Higuain told The Sun.
"Juventus is a great club but Gonzalo is too expensive for them. I cannot deny that Gonzalo is now close to Arsenal."
Arsenal and Madrid have reportedly settled on a £22m fee for the striker.
