Hull City 'to swoop for Arsenal's Johan Djourou'

Hull City are reportedly planning a summer swoop for Arsenal defender Johan Djourou

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is looking to land Arsenal defender Johan Djourou in a summer deal worth £2.6m, according to reports.

The Mirror claims that the Swiss international is being lined up for a move to Humberside, with Bruce keen to strengthen his options in defence ahead of next season.

However, Hull face competition from German side Hannover, who Djourou played for on-loan last year, and Hamburg where the defender is currently plying his trade.

Djourou has made just 86 appearances for parent club Arsenal, despite being with the North London outfit for 10 years.
