Inter Milan have reportedly placed Lukas Podolski high on a list of possible targets ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Podolski, who joined Arsenal from FC Koln in 2012, has struggled with form and fitness this season at the Emirates Stadium.
Inter are eager to make a number of big signings this summer as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for the Serie A title once again, and the 28-year-old is seen as a good attacking option, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Despite reports in Italy suggesting that a bid could be made for Podolski, Arsenal have not given any indication that they would be willing to let the German leave the club.
Inter are also expected to complete a deal to sign Nemanja Vidic, whose Manchester United contract expires at the end of the season.
