Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny's future reportedly remains unclear as talks between the defender and the club continue.
The French centre-back is into the final year of his contract and has been tipped to move on this summer.
According to The Telegraph, however, long-serving Koscielny's £90,000-a-week wages are putting off potential suitors Lyon and Rennes.
Having already lost two senior players in Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey since the end of last season, Unai Emery may now opt to keep Koscielny as part of his squad for his experience alone.
Discussions between Arsenal and Koscielny's camp are said to be ongoing and a decision on whether he stays or goes is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
