Former defender Lauren has suggested that Arsenal should try to sign Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba.
The Gunners failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, and it will likely result in manager Unai Emery looking to improve his backline.
Eighteen-year-old Saliba made 16 outings in Ligue 1 during the most recent campaign, leading to Lauren to say that the North Londoners should invest in the teenager.
Lauren told AmericanGambler.com: "He looks a very good player. Strong, tall, can come out of the back with the ball and an international for France.
"He reads the game very well, which is important for a player at the back, you have to anticipate and he looks very good at just 18, so the future is bright."
Lauren has also claimed that Arsenal should consider a reunion with Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.
