Liverpool, Arsenal to battle for Real Madrid's Isco?

Liverpool and Arsenal could be set to launch January bids for Real Madrid's Spanish midfielder Isco, according to reports.

Real Madrid's Isco has emerged as a January transfer target for Liverpool and Arsenal, with the Premier League clubs reportedly set to go head-to-head for his signature in January.

The 22-year-old Spain international, who was linked with a move to Manchester City over the summer, has fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With the summer additions of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos, chances are likely to be at a premium for Isco this season, and the midfielder may now move on in January, according to The Express.

Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger are both thought to be admirers of the versatile playmaker, who is also reported to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
