Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly confirmed that the club are willing to sell Luis Suarez for £50m.
Arsenal tabled a £42m bid for the Uruguayan striker earlier this week, but the Reds' asking price is likely to deter the Gunners, according to The Mirror.
The London outfit are allegedly willing to offer Suarez a five-year contract worth £150,000 a week to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
Reports elsewhere suggest that the controversial forward is keen on the move and is planning to hand in an official transfer request to help facilitate it.
Suarez made an 18-minute substitute appearance for Liverpool during their 2-0 win over Melbourne Victory in Wednesday's pre-season friendly.
