Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira's move to Torino is reportedly in doubt as he is no longer considered a primary target by the Serie A club.
The Gunners had been keen to get the Uruguay international off their books this summer, either on a permanent basis or on an initial season-long loan.
Torino and Fiorentina showed an interest in Torreira, who previously starred in the Italian top flight during his time with Sampdoria.
Sky Sports News claims that a switch to Torino is no longer looking likely, however, as club director Davide Vagnati instead wants to focus on other targets.
The same report indicates that Atletico Madrid may now be Torreira's only way out of the Emirates Stadium this window, with talks between the two clubs still ongoing.
Arsenal are expected to move for either Thomas Partey or Houssem Aouar, of Atletico and Lyon respectively, should they raise funds through Torreira's sale.
