Manchester City are lining up a bid to sign Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, according to reports.
The news comes after Blues striker Carlos Tevez was suspended for two weeks by the club for refusing to come off the substitutes bench against Bayern Munich, leading many to believe that he will soon be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium.
Meanhwile, van Persie recently expressed no urgency to negotiate a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, with his current deal ending in 2012.
The Dutchman would be following Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Gaël Clichy and Samir Nasri to City, should a deal happen.
