Roma defender Kostas Manolas has rejected the notion that he was in London this summer ahead of a proposed switch to Arsenal.
The Greece international was heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, with some speculation having claimed that he visited the English capital to discuss terms.
However, the 23-year-old, who eventually joined Roma from Olympiacos, has insisted that despite being aware of the interest in his signature from both Juventus and the Gunners, he is "very happy" with the decision that he made.
"It's true, Juventus sought me out after the World Cup. I could also have ended up at Arsenal, but I never went to London as it was reported. Now, for me there is only Roma. I'm very happy to have come here," he told Il Tempo.
Manolas has made eight appearances for the Giallorossi this season.
