Marouane Chamakh reveals that he is keen to leave Arsenal and rejoin French club Bordeaux.

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh has confirmed that he is looking to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has made just six Premier League appearances this season and as a result he feels that a move away from the Emirates Stadium would be best for his career.

"I'm 27. I need to play. I cannot stay like this forever," he told Telefoot.

The Moroccan then went on to reveal that he is keen on sealing a move back to former club Bordeaux.

"It would be Bordeaux. I am committed to this club," he added. "I will not leave in January. [I will make the] important decision in June."

Chamakh joined the Gunners in 2010.
