Marseille have reportedly identified Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny as a possible transfer target this summer.
Elneny has seemingly fallen down the pecking order under new Gunners boss Unai Emery following the summer signings of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
The 26-year-old was named on the bench for the opening-weekend defeat to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium, but was left as an unused sub while Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and the two new arrivals all saw game time.
The Mirror reports that Marseille are monitoring the situation and are hopeful that a potential lack of first-team football could make Elneny available this summer.
French clubs have until the end of the month to bring in new signings, while English clubs can still sell players despite the domestic transfer window closing last week.
Elneny only signed a new four-year contract in March, but Arsenal are understood to be open to the idea of selling the Egypt international should a suitable offer arrive.
