Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is reportedly interested in a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce when his time at the Emirates Stadium comes to an end.
The 31-year-old has regularly been linked with a move away from North London in recent transfer windows, although he is understood to have no intention of leaving before the end of his current contract, which expires next summer.
An extension beyond that date appears unlikely with no talks having taken place over a renewal, and Turkish outlet Fotomac reports that Fenerbahce would be Ozil's club of choice when he leaves the Gunners.
The report claims that Ozil suggested to his inner circle that part of his reasoning behind rejecting a pay cut at Arsenal in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic was that he could earn the lower wage at Fenerbahce.
The former Germany international has previously stated that Fenerbahce were his boyhood club, although he would likely be forced to take a significant drop from his current £350,000-a-week terms to join the Turkish club.
