Neto agent confirms Fiorentina exit

Reported Arsenal and Liverpool target Neto will leave Fiorentina in the summer, according to the goalkeeper's agent.

The agent of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto has revealed that the reported Liverpool and Arsenal target will leave the club this summer.

The 25-year-old, whose contract expires in June, is said to have courted interest from both Premier League sides, and his representative confirms that a departure is on the cards.

"He will decide where to go over the next few months," Stefano Castagna told Sky Sport Italia. "There are several teams interested in him but I don't like to name names."

When asked why the Brazilian rejected a contract extension, Castagna added: "When a decision is made, regardless of whether one likes it or not, it should be respected.

"And Neto is an astounding professional. Over five years in Fiorentina he always gave his best in every training session.

"He'll keep this up until the end of the season. If there were any answers to be given, then I'd say they were given on the pitch."

Neto joined the Italian side from Brazilian outfit Atletico Paranaense in 2011.
